Through the program of the cooperation between Normandy and North Macedonia, ALDA Skopje supports a number of youth initiatives. One of the most fruitful in the cooperation is the partnership of the Coalition of youth organizations SEGA from Prilep, Nord Macedonia and Maison pour tous “Leo Legrange” – Cherbourg, France. On a yearly basis, the two partners, with the support of ALDA Skopje, organize youth exchanges on the topic of youth activism and participation, training Macedonian and Norman youth to be youth workers. Certified trainers from Normandy, France transferred their experiences and knowledge of working with young people applied in France. The training contributed to improving the approach of civil society organizations in the field of youth work as well as strengthening the capacities of the employees themselves to work with young people as part of their daily work. This training is a continuation of the long-standing cooperation between the Coalition SEGA and the organization Maison pour tous Léo Lagrange from Cherbourg, Normandy, which continue to cooperate on several projects in the field of youth.
